Alan J. Dillon

Alan J. Dillon age 85, of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at Altercare Summit Acres Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell, OH. He was born April 12, 1939 in Bloomingrose, WV son of Alma M. Williams Overton.

He served and protected his nation in the US Army. Alan loved fishing, hunting, and playing softball.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his son Alan Jay Dillon MSGT.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife G. Irene Thomas Dillon, whom he married November 27, 1959; son Brian Jeff (Lori Wing) Dillon of Olmsted Falls, OH; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many friends.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services being held at this time. Inurnment will be at Keith Cemetery in Keithtown, OH at a later date. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
