Carl Pender

Carl E. Pender, age 81 of Caldwell, Ohio, formerly of Anchorage, Alaska passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. He was born December 23, 1934 a son of the late William Pender and Helen Pender Collier.

Carl served and protected his nation for 2 years in the 82nd Airborne Division. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking. He was a professional painter for the Union for many years. It will always be said Carl lived his life, his way!

Those left to cherish his memory are a brother Larry (Bonnie) Collier of Ravenna, OH; 2 nephews Steven (Crystal) Collier of Ravenna and Scott Collier of Kent, OH; great-nephews Mitchell, Travis, Bailey, and Andrew Collier.

Cremation will be observed, with no additional funeral services held at this time. Inurnment will be held in Pisgah Cemetery near Fairmont, WV, at a later date.
