Thomas E. Stewart

Thomas E. Stewart age 71, of Marietta, OH passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 22, 1948 in Flemington, WV a son of the late Walter Thomas and Ora Stewart.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Julie Stewart Joy; brothers Charles and Niesen Stewart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda Jones Stewart, whom he married March 22, 1966; 2 sons Thomas "Tink" (Tallarie) Stewart and Tim Stewart all of Marietta; daughter Vicki (Rick) Thieman of Waterford, OH; grandchildren Joe (Erin) Stewart, Marisa (Scott) Martin, Ryan and Jeff (Kelsey) Thieman, Lindsay (Colin) Frame, Derek Joy, Josh, Kaleigh, and Chloe Stewart; great-grandchildren Brock, Dane, Walker, and Sawyer Stewart, and Garrett Martin; siblings Grover Stewart, Nadine Simmons, Jackie Crouse, Joan McCloy, and Sue Tingler. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with Tom's wishes, a loving cremation will be observed with no additional services held. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.

The family would like to thank Marietta Hospice (Dianne Wigal) and Dr. Kelli Cawley and all the staff at the Strecker Cancer Center for their wonderful help, care, and concern.
