Rhoda Triplett Obituary

Rhoda Francis Wagner Triplett born May 8, 1936 went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 15, 2019.

She was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary's of the Assumption. Rhoda held a Master's Degree in Education attending Marshall University with the love of her life whom she later married, Johnny. She was employed by Marietta City Schools as a Guidance Counselor as well as part time at St. Mary's Elementary after retirement. She belonged to Alpha Xi Delta and a Bridge group. Volunteering in her community throughout the years, she greatly supported The Marietta Welfare League.

Rhoda is survived by her son Judge John E. Triplett, Jr. (Cinda), daughter Paige Ridenour (Allen) and her grandchildren Adam Triplett (Amy), Erin Hamill (Nick Brogan), Alex (Brooke) Ridenour, LeeAnn Ridenour and Great granddaughter Amara Chrzan. She is also survived by a brother Jerry Wagner, Sr. (Janet), sister in laws Anita Wagner and Marsha Wagner.

Rhoda is preceded in death by husband John E. Triplett Sr., her brothers Frank and Cecil Wagner.

At her request, there will be no services. Donations may be made in her name to The Marietta Welfare League Shoe Tag Fund, P.O. Box 525, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
