Raymond "Dale" Williams

Raymond “Dale” Williams age 92, of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born May 23, 1926 in Noble County, OH a son of the late Delmar and Daisy H. Secrest Williams.

Dale served and protected our nation in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Sharon Lodge #136 F. & A.M. He enjoyed playing cards and square dancing. He spent his career in sales working for several different dealerships, finally ending his career with the former Cowgill’s Chevrolet in Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Ruth Carolyn Lallathin Williams; wife Elaine Lallathin Williams; son-in-law David D. Thomas and a step-son Randy Fleeman.

Those left to cherish his memory are 3 children Peggy Thomas, Cindy Williams, and David (Sherry) Williams all of Caldwell; step-children Carol (Tim) Barnum of Zanesville, OH and Christopher (Julie) Fleeman of Marietta; step-daughter-in-law Teresa Fleeman of Lower Salem, OH; brother Donald Williams of Senecaville, OH; step-brother Virgil “Butch” Davis of Caldwell, OH. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for a Graveside Service Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Dudley Cemetery located south of Caldwell. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations. Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
