Lillian Irene Gardner

Lillian Irene Gardner age 81, of Louisville, OH, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 6, 2018.  She was born October 2, 1936 in Noble County, a daughter of the late Everett and Freda Everly Cunningham.

Lillian retired from The Louisville Library of Louisville, OH where she was employed as a front desk clerk. She was a member of Shepherd’s Hill Nazarene Church in Louisville, OH; a member of the Friends of the Library, and the Louisville Historical Society.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Darl D. Gardner whom she married November 6, 1954 and who passed on February 28, 2005.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Theresa A. (Stephen) Schillig of North Canton, OH, 2 sons Tim (Cynthia) Gardner of Hartville, OH and Richard Gardner of San Diego, CA; sister Shirley (Ward) Murrey of Caldwell, OH; 2 brothers Jim (Diane) Cunningham of Pataskala, OH, and David (Carol) Cunningham of Caldwell, OH; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday September 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724.  A funeral service will conclude visitation Monday September 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Larry Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery south of Caldwell.
