Julia J. (Rocker) Howery

Julia J. Howery age 77, of Fleming, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born October 17, 1939 in Marmet, WV a daughter of the late John and Alice Raines Rocker.

Julia loved being a mother and caring for her family. She enjoyed painting, working jigsaw puzzles and playing with her cat. For many years, she enjoyed vacationing to the beach with her husband Jack and just being outdoors, taking in nature.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack T. Howery, whom she married August 17, 1956 and who passed July 21, 2016; 2 brothers William Rocker and John Rocker; a sister Nancy Durst.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Pam (David Sr.) Siders of Fleming; grandchildren Amy (Mike) Siders and David (Emily) Siders. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation will be observed, with no additional funeral services held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
