Sincere condolences for your loss.  Can you imagine a time when there will be no more sickness or death?  A time when you will see loved ones who have fallen asleep in death?  The time is soon approaching when you will see these things.  Titus 1:2 states that God cannot lie, therefore, the promises and hope found at Revelation 21:4 (death will be no more), Isaiah 33:24 (no resident will say "I am sick"), and Acts 24:15 (hope of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death) will certainly be realized.  Until that time, however, may Jehovah, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4), comfort you in your time of need.

I went to school with Janis and she was always so friendly, always spoke to you. She had a smile that could be remembered always. Such a giving person and will be missed by many. Too young to leave us. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

Debbie, Katherine, and all;

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Janis and want to express my deepest sympathy to all.  I remember Janis from way back and haven't seen her since she ran a shop in downtown Fredericksburg.  We went to Massaponax Baptist Church as children and that is where I probably met the Blake family along with Mrs. Leitch, her grandmother.  Mrs. Leitch was good friends with my mother.

So sorry to hear of this. She always had a smile when I saw her and a kind word to say. Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Janis. She was a good soul and will be missed, but not forgotten.

I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Janis. Although I haven't seen Janis since we graduated many years ago, my memories of her are vivid. Janis was the most well liked and admired by many. Janis will forever remain a good friend and my favorite classmate!  My condolences to her family.   Barry Surles- Fredericksburg, Va

I'm so saddened to hear that Janis has passed from this life.
I haven't seen her since high school; yet at every reunion always hoped she would come.
Janis was the one of the first persons I remember reaching out to me and extending her friendship in the 5th grade. We had just moved to Fredericksburg, VA and being the new girl in a very small town wasn't an easy transition. She was so smart and a great student.  She was a beautiful person (inside and outside) and so kind ... I do remember her love for cats.
I will always hold fond memories of Janis my heart. I had no idea she was a pilot ~ amazing!  Prayers that she is soaring in her heavenly home with Jesus.  May the Lord comfort and give peace to all family and friends who will miss her presence.
