Janet L. Haun

Janet L. Haun age 68, of Caldwell, OH passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Beckett House in New Concord, OH. She was born May 30, 1950 in Canton, Ohio a daughter of the late Herman and Thelma Reikowski Dahler.

Janet loved nature, from working in her garden to caring for her flowers. She loved her cats, hummingbirds, fishing, and reading the latest copy of the Birds & Blooms Magazine and the Reader’s Digest. Many will remember Janet from her time working at the Singer Sunoco in Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Amy Haun and a brother James Dahler.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her husband William “Bill” A. Haun, whom she married November 9, 1974; 2 daughters Stefanie (Kevin) Bunfill of Quaker City, OH and Julie Haun of Canton, OH; 8 grandchildren Matthew Bunfill, Courtney Bunfill, Caitlin Bunfill, Alexandra Tomlinson, Zachary Tomlinson, Jessica Tomlinson, Samantha Tomlinson, and Jillian Haun; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers William Dahler of Columbus, OH and Thomas (Debbie) Dahler of Colorado; a very special sister-in-law Becky Dahler of North Canton, OH. She is also survived by several, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends.

Cremation will be observed at this time, with a Celebration of Life Service being planned for a later date.
