James M. “Big Jim” Bolen age 54, of Cambridge, OH passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his home. He was born March 23, 1965 in Cambridge, OH a son of Judith M. Warner Bolen of Caldwell and the late Arthur “Art” L. Bolen.
He was a 1983 Graduate of the Caldwell High School. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2382 in Lowell, OH. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was employed at the B&N Coal Company, where he was a heavy equipment operator.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother are his 2 brothers Kevin (Tammi) Bolen of Caldwell, OH and Arthur “Larry” (Pam Davis) Bolen of Marietta, OH; sister Tammy Hardie of Dexter City, OH; nieces and nephews Ryan Bolen, Adam Bolen, Shanae Bolen, Kasen Bolen, Faith Garvin, Danielle Hall, Breanna Hardie, Katlin Musial, Chris Cook, and Matt Bolen; special cousins Dustin and Kristina Forshey, their son and Jim’s little buddy Brody, their daughters Kiersten, Alexis, and Paisley. He is also survived by a large extended family and a tremendous group of friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at the Crooked Tree Cemetery near Dexter City, OH.
