Henry L Gillett

Henry L. Gillett age 45, of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He was born January 7, 1972 in Coshocton, OH a son of Alfred (Gail) Gillett of Yuma, AZ and the late Evelyn J. Gillett.

 

Henry loved his fish tanks, model cars and planes, and all types of technology. He will always be remembered for cooking crazy food.

 

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife Melodie Jo Velosky Gillett whom he married January 6, 2001 and who passed away March 31, 2008; 2 brothers Harry and Alex Gillett.

 

Those left to cherish his memory are 1 sister Sandra (Richard) Bartrug of Woodsfield, OH; 1 brother Jerome (Christine) Gillett of Newark, OH; nieces and nephews Jakayla Oakes, Brittany Gillett, Jade Oakes, Korey Oakes, Shawn Gillett, Jeanna Oakes, Kitson Oakes, Ruthie Gillett, Hannah Bartrug, and Loralie Gillett; 1 great-niece Naomi Lough, and 1 adopted niece Emma. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many friends.

 

Cremation will be performed and a memorial service will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Joyce M. Davis Senior Center, 300 Cumberland St, Caldwell, OH 43724. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
