Frank R. "Butch" Vincent, age 75 of Pleasant City, OH passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH. He was born June 13, 1944 in Guernsey County, OH a son of the late Ross and Dema Potts Vincent.
He served and protected his nation in the US Army as a member of the 1st Calvary Division having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #641 in Belle Valley, OH and a Life Member of the VFW Post #3760 in Byesville, OH. He was retired from the Champion Spark Plug Manufacturing Plant in Cambridge, OH following 28 years of service. Butch enjoyed fishing and woodworking for many years, and especially spending time visiting with friends and family. Recently he could also be found in the garage with Billy restoring a 1958 Ford F100 pickup.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his wife Patty A. Khune Vincent, whom he married November 21, 1992; 3 sons Rick (Amy) Vincent of Cambridge and their children Jaret, Brady, and Emilee, Billy (Fiancée Jessica Shield) Leek of Pleasant City, OH and children Austyn, Baylee, and Hunter, Danny (Kelly Johnson) Leek of Piedmont, OH and daughter Maggie; 2 daughters Heather (Mike) Seley of Cambridge and their son Mikey and Joellen (Corey) Perkins of Cambridge and their son Score; 1 sister Mary Lou (Stanley) Powell of Warminster, PA; 1 aunt Donna Potts of Cambridge. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, September 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Jimmie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery, with military graveside honors conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations.
