Elaine S (Macenko) Martin

Elaine S. Macenko Martin age 62, of Ossian, IN lost her battle with Cancer Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 13, 1954 in Caldwell, OH a daughter of the late George A. and Louella I. Crum Macenko.

She was a 1972 Graduate of Caldwell High School. Elaine will always be remembered for the love she had for her dogs and working in her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Georgene M. Mizik and a niece Jane Arnold.

Those left to cherish her memory are a sister Diane (Luke) Arnold of Marietta, OH; brother Dan (Arlene) Macenko of Lower Salem, OH; nieces and nephews Angie (John) Sahlbom, Mike (Amy) Arnold, Jeremy (Kasey) Mizik, Alicia (Chris) Walter, and Marc (Kimberly) Macenko. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks for the Visiting Nurse Hospice Home Staff, especially Ginger and Angela for the care they offered Elaine.

Cremation was observed and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Caldwell.
