Donnell "Don" D. Stock

Donnell “Don” D. Stock age 74 of Peculiar, MO, formerly of Dover, OH passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Brookdale Foxwood Springs Skilled Nursing in Raymore, MO. He was born December 13, 1943 in Salem, OH a son of the late Anthony John and Margaret Elizabeth O’Donnell Stock.

Don was a 1962 Graduate of the Canfield High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Ohio Northern University. He retired in 2011 after a career in the gas industry from the former National Gas & Oil, currently The Energy Cooperative in Newark, OH. He attended the Southland Baptist Church in Belton, MO. He enjoyed woodworking in his free time and could often be found working in his yard and garden. Don also enjoyed volunteering at the Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother John Anthony Stock.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 50 years Joyce Ann Cisler Stock, whom he married September 9, 1967; son James Randall (Jessica) Stock of South Euclid, OH; daughter Bethany Woodson of Raymore, MO; 6 grandchildren Tucker, Riley, Thatcher, Sami, Anna, and Josie. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation Saturday at 12:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with his children James and Bethany officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, OH.
