Carol "Katie" (Schroepfer) Holeton

Carol “Katie” Holeton age 81 of Cambridge, OH passed away March 9, 2018 at the Oak Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center in Baltic, Ohio. She was born November 13, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI a daughter of the late George Schroepfer and Margaret Cunningham Parsons.

Carol loved spending time with family and friends, going to yard sales, playing Bingo, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She could often be seen caring for neighbors that were home bound and purchasing things for those less fortunate, especially children.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Allen Ray Holeton, who passed away November 17, 2006; 2 sisters Joyce McClements and Sandra Meyers; 1 brother Jack Schroepfer.

Those left to cherish her memory are 2 daughters Kim (Kenny) Miller of Cambridge and Dawn (Martin) Hageman of Wisconsin; grandson Steven Pekari of Byesville; great-grandson Damien Pekari; 2 sisters Joan Stubner of Wisconsin and Kitty (Jerry) Vickers of Michigan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville, OH, with Elder Solomon Meyer officiating, with burial to follow. Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
