Ned A. Shreve

Ned A. Shreve age 54, of Sarahsville, OH passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in Caldwell. OH. He was born October 5, 1969 in Barnesville, OH a son of Linda (Loren King) Carpenter Warner of Summerfield, OH and Roger (Brenda Wise) Shreve of Sarahsville.

He was the owner and operator of Ben Logging, where he proudly worked with his son Stephen. Ned was a 1989 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He was a member of the Big John Sportsman’s Club. He loved hunting, boating on the lake, farm living, socializing, and traveling. He was universally adored by all who crossed paths with him, effortlessly becoming the heart of any gathering.

He is preceded in death by two brothers Jamie Ben Shreve and Julian Lynn Shreve.

Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents are his wife Carrie L. Biedenbach Shreve whom he married October 17, 1998; son Stephen (Santana Strode) Shreve of Sarahsville; sister Missy (Arthur) Payne of Greenwood, WV; brother Lee (Shelli) Shreve of Sarahsville; father-in-law and mother-in-law Steve and Sue Biedenbach of Caldwell; brother-in-law Tom Biedenbach of Caldwell. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends who will forever be considered family.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chander Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Kirby Moore officiating and Guy Carpenter offering the eulogy. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
