Shirley A. Lee age 78 of Sarahsville, OH passed away Sunday June 15, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 18, 1936 in Mason, WV a daughter of the late Theodore Sr. and Mildred Roush Riley.

She was employed with Summit Acres Nursing Home in housekeeping for over 12 years. She loved to crochet and was always making things for others, even in her illness. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband  William D. Lee, who passed away on February 16, 2001; son Mike Lee; brother Theodore Riley Jr.; son-in-law Larry Postlethwait and sister JoAnn Riley.

She was loved and will be missed by her family, 2 sons Russell C. (Mary Jo) Lee of Summerfield; Kenny Lee (Debbie Watson) of Sarahsville; 2 daughters Lori Postlethwait of East Union and Lois Lee of the home; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; 1 sister Patty (Vernon) Roush of Mason, WV and a sister-in-law Clara Belle Riley of Middleport. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care and assistance Debbie Watson offered Shirley.

Friends will be received Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Helen Lewis officiating. Inurnment will follow in East Union Cemetery, East Union OH.

I was sorry to hear about your mom passing. I will always treasure the beautiful doilies and christmas ornaments that she made. She was a sweet lady and hard worker. God bless you and your siblings.
