Ronald Duane Parcell

Ronald Duane Parcell age 71 of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday February 13, 2014 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell. He was born July 22, 1942 in Center Township in Morgan County, OH a son of the late Hamer and Carrie Hastings Parcell.

Ronald enjoyed hunting for many years and riding his 4 wheeler. He will always be remembered for the time he spent playing bluegrass music and sharing his gift.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sons Ron & Bill Parcell; 2 brothers Gene & Joe Parcell; 1 sister Nell Parcell.

He was loved and will be missed by his family, wife Beulah Garvin Parcell, whom he married September 25, 1959; 4 sons Duane (Rhonda) Parcell of Caldwell, Edgel (Deana) Parcell of Ava, Roy (Misty) Parcell of Mt. Vernon, IL and Joey Parcell of Caldwell; 1 daughter Tiffany Parcell (Fiance Kurt Brown) of Caldwell; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received Sunday February 16, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will conclude the visitation Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Helen Lewis Officiating. Cremation will follow services at the funeral home with inurnment to be held at a later date.
