Patricia Lynn (Thomas) McVicker

Patricia Lynn McVicker, age 63 of Belle Valley, OH passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Caldwell as a result of an automobile accident. She was born February 11, 1953 in Cambridge, OH a daughter of the late Stephen E. and Vivian R. Champlain Thomas.

Patricia was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley. She was retired from GTE/Verizon with over 30 years of service and had also been an employee at the Rollings Hills School District. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, working with her flowers, playing bingo and her computer games. She most enjoyed spending time with her 3 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 siblings Deborah June Thomas and Jerome Edward Thomas.

Those left to cherish her memory, are son R.J. (Maureen) McVicker of Pleasant City, OH; 3 grandchildren Maxwell, Emilia, and Sophia McVicker; 2 sisters Veronica (David) Bates of Pataskala, OH and Stephanie (Tom) Secrest of Seneca Lake; 2 brothers Stephen G. Thomas of Belle Valley and Nathan J. (Serena) Thomas of Elba, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, with a vigil service held at 8:00 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley, Ohio with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as Celebrant. Cremation will follow, with inurnment held at a later date.
