Matthew E. Kemp

Matthew Elliott Kemp age 47 of Belpre, OH passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1966 in Cambridge, OH a son of Harold E. Kemp of Flushing, OH and Sally Hall Turner of Belpre. 

Matthew was a Caldwell High School graduate. He was an avid deer hunter. He could often be found tinkering on all types of small engines.

In addition to his parents, he is loved and missed by his family wife Jill Eddleblute Kemp, whom he married January 17, 2014; son Turner Chase of Decatur, IL; step-daughter Brooke; 2 brothers Mark (Pam Hewlett) Kemp of Hilliard, OH and Michael Kemp of Belpre; sister Misty Coe of Marietta, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation will be observed. Friends will be received Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 concluding visitation at 6:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating. Inurnment will be observed at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for final expenses in c/o Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724.
