It's sad to hear about Matt, I wish I wouldv'e known sooner. Had the privilege of working with him here at ADM in Decatur, IL. I know the difficult times he went thru while here. My wife and I were honor to have him attend church with us several times along with Chase. I still have a picture of him a Chase with the deer Chase got several years ago. I pray he finnaly found peace with God and will not suffer no more. Our Prayers go out to his family.

I met Matt when we were in the 7th Grade at Dexter City Jr High and we were friends throughout our high school years and into our 20s. We had so many fun times in the 80s but then life took us in different directions and we lost touch with a few calls over the years. He was a kind & nice man that I remember with much fondness. After I left for college he would check in on my grandma and take her out to dinner and drive her to appointments which is an act of kindness I will never forget. I am saddened to hear of his untimely death and my thoughts are with his family and all of those that loved him.

My prayers are with the family of Matt at this time. I taught Matt in his 8th grade year and always liked him as a person. He had a friendly spirit and a shyness that was appealing. I have lost track of him over the years. I hope life treated him well and that his wife and children will know the peace of God during these days of sadness. May the God of comfort give you comfort.
