Joseph M. Cline

Joseph M. Cline age 58 of Summerfield, OH passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his home. He was born September 9, 1956 in Cambridge, Ohio a son of Norma Jean Stephens Cline of Summerfield and the late Jack M. Cline.

Joe was a member of the Woodsfield Fraternal Order of Eagles #2302. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker and his trips to the dog track. He loved to play, watch and coach all kinds of sports. He so looked forward to watching his grandson Holden’s first game. He always had a special place in his heart for all his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother Jeff Cline.

Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother are his wife Kendra J. Wilson Cline, whom he married Sept. 27, 1980; 2 daughters Miranda (Seth) Bourassa of Dublin, OH and Chelsea Cline of Summerfield; a son Bradley (Katie) Cline of Thornville, OH; grandson Holden Cline; a sister Joyce (Darrel) Miller of Westerville, OH; 2 brothers James (Paula) Cline of Caldwell and John (Karen) Cline of Summerfield; father-in-law and mother-in-law Kenneth and Carla Wilson of Summerfield; sisters-in-law Cheri (Mike) Stevens and Sharon Carpenter Cline both of Summerfield; brother-in-law Scott Wilson of Thornville. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Private funeral service will be observed Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Jimmie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastern Cemetery in Summerfield.

Joe was not a “flower guy”, so in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to one of Joe’s favorite organizations or a charity of your choice; Shenandoah Athletic Boosters, 49346 Seneca Lake Road, Sarahsville, OH 43779 or the Noble County Junior Fair Board, P.O. Box #2, Caldwell, OH 43724.
