Eldon D Clark

Eldon D. “Stub” Clark age 78 of Hackney, OH passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 24, 1937 in Morgan County, Ohio a son of the late Charles F. and Mary DeEtte Stewart Clark. 

Eldon enjoyed fishing and horses, but most of all loved spending time with his family. Nothing made him happier than to have big family gatherings at the house. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Douglas Glenn Clark; brother Darrel William Clark and daughter-in-law Tina Louise Clark. 

Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 58 years Janis N. Porter Clark, whom he married June 9, 1956; children Gayle (Kevin) Boggs of Stockport, OH, Charlie (Joann) Clark of Beverly, OH, Samuel (Lynda) Clark of Hackney, Marvin (Deana) Clark of Hackney, Claudine (Eddie) Baker of Waterford, OH, Everett (Darlena) Clark of Amesville, OH, and Elaine (Jeff) Mayle of Malta, OH; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; 6 surviving siblings Wanda Slater, Jeanne Baker, Ivan Clark, Donna Porter, Nancy Baker and Jerry Clark. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation will be observed, without any additional services held at this time.
