He loved to discuss and study the Bible with others, teaching them about God’s Kingdom and the Bible’s hope for the future where sickness, death and suffering will be no more.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darren DeLong in 2009.
He leaves his wife, Debra Kotoff DeLong of 41 years; 2 children, son Kevin DeLong (Sarah Burris) of Cambridge and daughter Dawn (Tony) Wheeler of Claysville; mother, Mona DeLong of Salesville; brothers, Doug (Rhonda) of Cambridge, Darryl (Sandy) of Salesville, Dennis (Susan) of Cambridge and Dayle DeLong of Salesville; grandchildren Haley and Kyle DeLong, Chloe, Emma and Avery Wheeler; one “adopted” son Josh Fisher; and one “adopted” grandson Hayden Seckman; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
