Barry E Carpenter

Barry E. Carpenter age 42 of Macksburg, OH passed away Sunday October 6, 2013 at his home. He was born July 26, 1971 in Barberton, OH a son of Linda S. (Mike) Speece of Clarington, OH and Barry O. (Sheri) Carpenter of West Union, WV.

He was a 1989 graduate of Caldwell High School and had worked on oil rigs since graduation. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Ann Morris and Beryl Carpenter; uncle Joe Pakes; sister-in-law Angela Marie Martin and nephew Jensen L. Davis.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by wife Kristi Martin Carpenter of the home, whom he married October 8, 1994; children Jacob L. and Jessalin D.L. Carpenter both of the home; 2 brothers Russ (Geri) Carpenter of O'Fallon, IL and Shawn Carpenter of West Union; 1 sister Crystal (J.D.) Sklenar of Ava, OH; mother-in-law and father-in-law Roger and Linda Martin of Caldwell; grandmother Darlene Carpenter of Lewisville, OH; sisters-in-law Tammy (Frank) Fisk and Kimberly (Jerry) Davis all of Caldwell. He is also survived by a large extended family, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received Thursday October 10, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Friday October 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Lund Cemetery in Macksburg.
